At MoonfillBakes, we specialize in delivering freshly baked, customized cakes across Chennai. This Shipping Policy outlines our terms regarding the processing and delivery of your orders.

All cakes are made to order. Orders are processed after successful payment and confirmed order details. You will receive a confirmation message once your order is accepted.

Serviceable Region

  • We currently provide delivery only within Chennai city limits.
  • Orders placed outside this serviceable area will unfortunately not be accepted.

Processing & Delivery Time

  • Since our cakes are customized and freshly baked, the processing time may vary depending on the design and complexity.
  • Standard delivery time is within 24–48 hours of order confirmation unless a specific delivery slot is selected at checkout.
  • For same-day delivery, customers are advised to place orders at least 6–8 hours in advance (subject to availability).
  • Delivery timings may vary due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Delivery Charges

  • Delivery is available across Chennai with a nominal delivery fee based on the delivery location.
  • Free delivery may be offered for select areas or promotional events.

Handling & Responsibility

  • As cakes are perishable and delicate items, they require careful handling.
  • Our delivery team ensures safe transport, but customers are requested to receive the order personally at the given delivery address.
  • MoonfillBakes will not be responsible for delays caused due to:
    • Incorrect/incomplete delivery addresses
    • Recipient unavailability at the time of delivery
    • Events beyond our control (e.g., traffic jams, heavy rains, strikes, etc.)

Special Instructions

  • Customers are encouraged to provide preferred delivery slots and any special delivery instructions at the time of placing the order.
  • Once the order is delivered successfully, MoonfillBakes cannot be held responsible for storage issues (cakes must be refrigerated as required).
